Game The Party

Privacy Policy

Last updated: this is a starting template and should be reviewed by legal before launch.

Game The Party, operated by PRASH AI Solutions (“we”, “us”), runs a web-based party-games platform at gametheparty.com. This policy explains what we collect and why. Playing a game does not require an account.

What we collect

  • Gameplay data: the screen name you choose, the room code you join, and your in-game actions. Room state is stored only for the life of a session.
  • Account data (hosts only): if you sign in, your email and basic profile from your sign-in provider.
  • Usage data:standard logs and analytics (pages viewed, approximate location, device type) to keep the service running and improve it. Location is looked up from your IP address to roughly country, state and city level — we never store your IP address or any precise location, and we don't use a cookie to recognise you between days.

How we use it

  • To run live game rooms and let players rejoin their seat.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the platform.
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions (hosts who buy a plan).

Service providers

We rely on trusted third parties to run the service, including Supabase (database and realtime), Vercel (hosting), and Stripe (payments). They process data only to provide their service to us.

Cookies

We use essential cookies/local storage to keep you in your game (for example, to remember your seat) and, where enabled, privacy-friendly analytics. Our own page-view analytics set no cookie at all: visits are counted with an identifier that is recalculated from scratch every day and cannot be traced back to you.

Data retention

Game rooms and their data are short-lived and cleared after a session ends. Account data is kept while your account is active.

Children

The platform is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their personal data.

Your choices

You can request access to or deletion of your account data by emailing us. Players can leave a room at any time.
