How a room starts
- Pick a game from the catalog — every occasion has its own room.
- Put the game's board screen where everyone can see it: a TV, a laptop, or a shared screen on a video call.
- Players scan the QR code (or type the room code) in their phone's browser. No app, no account.
- Play — everyone answers, votes, and scores from their own phone.
How to play Vibe Check
A short narrated walkthrough of the whole game, from joining on your phone to the final scores: watch the how-to video. It is one tap from inside the room too, so a first-time group never needs the rules explained.
Where Vibe Check fits
You will find it in the Anniversary room and the Couples Showdown room, alongside the other games picked for that occasion.
Common questions
- Do players need to install an app to play Vibe Check?
- No. Players scan a QR code or type the room code in whatever browser is already on their phone. There is nothing to download and no account to create.
- How many people can play Vibe Check?
- Between 2 and 16. Hosting is free for small groups; larger rooms need a Pro plan or a pass.
- How long does a game of Vibe Check take?
- About 15-25 min. Every round runs on a timer, so the game keeps moving even if somebody is slow to answer.
- Can we play Vibe Check over Zoom or a video call?
- Yes. Share the board screen over the call and everyone still plays from their own phone in the room they are in.
- What happens if someone's phone drops out mid-game?
- They come back to the same seat with their score intact — their device remembers who they were, so there is nothing to retype.
- How do we learn the rules?
- There is a short how-to-play video linked on this page and one tap away inside the room, so a first-time group can watch it together and start.
