About Where We're Going
Where We're Going is the short one, and the quiet one. Three rounds: a secret wish each of you writes privately and then shares, a look five and ten years ahead where one of you pictures it and the other predicts the picture, and a fast final round of rapid questions against the clock.
Everyone joins one room from their own phone and pairs up. Every pair plays the same three rounds at the same time and is scored on its own, racing on a live scoreboard. The end screen names the most aligned pair and gives everyone an alignment score out of a hundred.
The wish round is not scored on agreeing. Two different honest answers are the point of it, so sharing is what earns the points and the two wishes are revealed side by side on the pair's own phones - never on the shared screen.
Two to sixteen players, six to twelve minutes depending on the pace the host picks. It is built to be the last game of the night, or the one you play when there is not time for another long one.
How a room starts
- Pick a game from the catalog — every occasion has its own room.
- Put the game's board screen where everyone can see it: a TV, a laptop, or a shared screen on a video call.
- Players scan the QR code (or type the room code) in their phone's browser. No app, no account.
- Play — everyone answers, votes, and scores from their own phone.

Common questions
- Why only three rounds?
- It is deliberately the short game in the set. Six to twelve minutes start to finish, depending on whether the host sets the pace to Quick, Moderate or Slow, so it fits at the end of an evening.
- How many people can play?
- Up to sixteen, so as many as eight pairs. Two people works too, and becomes a run through the rounds for the pair of you.
- Do we have to be a couple?
- No. Players pair up in the lobby, so friends or family can play as a pair. The questions look forward rather than back, so you do not need a shared history.
- Does everyone see what we wished for?
- No. Both wishes appear only on the two phones of the pair they came from. The shared screen shows the question and the scoreboard.
- What do we get at the end?
- The most aligned pair, plus an alignment score out of a hundred and a named result for every pair.
